Name:
Hushstorm
Age:
24 moons
Gender:
Tom
Alliance:
FleetClan
Rank:
Deputy
Outer Beauty:
Hushstorm has a handsome, admirable face that immediately reflects his personality. He was born a tabby, with distinctive tabby markings across his forehead and face. His forehead markings are the markings that stand out more fervently than any other, and makes him stand out. His head frame is large, but not overly so like his father's had been. He's not big and bulky, but he does have the handsome appeal of a large tabby. His ears are mostly always sternly pricked, and never are they flattened unless he feels threatened or angered by something.
And never is he usually angered, for his face rarely shows his true emotions. He likes to keep them all locked deep inside, away from the views of others. Even a flicker of doubt or sadness can barely be seen as an expression on his face, and many often ponder on why this is so. His eyes, a light shade of emerald, are deep pools of warmth and compassion. They are pretty large and not so close to his nose, so that it fits in with the frame of his face. Whenever one looks into this young tom's eyes, you'll often see calmness and thoughtfulness in them. Anything else, and you'll have to tread deeper.
Hushstorm, when you first glance at him, can be rather over-whelming. He is a very large tabby tom, like his father had been, and has definitely stolen his father's admirable build. He has broad shoulders, with a short and thick neck that leads up to a medium-sized head. His frame is lithe, however, granting him the FleetClan ability to run fast. Also, he has unusual long claws - not as sharp like Tigerstar's, but unusually long. Although Hushstorm never complains, they are a good advantage when battling. All-in-all, Hushstorm is a very impressive warrior, although despite his large size he does not take advantage of it, and he only uses his great strength when necessary; the true sign of a great warrior.
Inner Beauty:
Hushstorm is possibly the most loyal warrior in his clan; which just may be the reason of why he was chosen to be deputy. Not only does he care extremely for his clan, but he cares for every member of it. That means the leader, of course, the warriors, apprentices, queens, kits, and even the elders when they are in their worst cranky moods. He respects everyone, and because of that they respect him. Hushstorm, is not just known for his loyalty, but for his extremely passionate ability to love. Even though he did not grow up with any siblings, his parents taught him all that he needed to know, and much more. Love was a necessity, not just a want. Hushstorm grew up believing that, and when his parents died, he kept their wise words all in mind. He has no family now, nor a mate despite of this, but that doesn't mean that Hushstorm won't stop searching. Once he has a mate, there's no doubt that he'll be the happiest tom in the world.
Hushstorm is, like many other warriors in any Clan, very fierce in battle. He likes to stun his opponent, and show-off his impressive defense moves. He enjoys battling, but not so much does he enjoy killing. He would rather injure his opponent severely rather than kill him in cold-blood. He would only kill in cold-blood if the circumstance was absolutely necessary, because that's just the kind of cat Hushstorm is. He is faithful and trust-worthy, and the clan can certainly rely on him because of that. He is very playful, and he loves to tease his clan mates every now and then. If you ever hear a funny, peculiar joke, Hushstorm is probably at the bottom of it. He knows when it is the right time to be serious though, and to remain silent.
He has great perseverance, and once he has started something he won't stop and take a break until it is completely finished. He knows what is right and wrong, and will often take charge when something isn't right. He is not at all bossy unless he is doing his duty as a deputy, and is very considerate to others when they want to voice their opinions. Never does he shut anyone out, and never wll he try to knock somebody down. I think the best trait of Hushstorm's is his ability to strongly understand others. He knows just what to say if you are having problems, and he has always had that sixth sense on whether or not you are troubled or not. He's not nosy or always in your business though - he's not annoyingly so, he's more considered like a loyal friend to all. Very much like a peace-maker. He doesn't like to see his friends fight, and when they do he doesn't hesitate to step in and calm down the fire. He has the great ability to do that - one moment two cats could be spitting insults at each other and the next apologizing to each other after listening to Hushstorm's words. Like the rain, his words are calm and soothing, and it immediately distinguishes the fire.
Every cat has its flaws though, and Hushstorm is no different. Despite his kind and compassionate personality, he has many flaws under the surface. And one can barely detect them when he hides them so well. Underneath it all, he's a very sensitive tom. You'd think with him being a peace-maker and all he wouldn't care what others think about him, but they are clearly mistaken if they think that. Usually if somebody offends him he will just shrug it off, but sometimes it cuts straight deep into the heart. A major flaw of Hushstorm's is that he can't help but solve problems. Now if you think that's not a trait to be proven a flaw, you're wrong. This is one of the main reasons why some people do not like him. He goes into other cats business only to show that he cares, but some cats just like to be left alone and he doesn't understand that. Since he is a sensitive cat, he thinks that others need help frequently, and that's not true in some cats cases. They get irritated with him, when all he is trying to do it help them. He still doesn't understand it, but sometimes he needs to be reminded that not everybody needs his caring words and generous heart.
Past:
Hushstorm was born to a beautiful FleetClan queen, Cedarshadow, and a rouge for a father he never knew. The moment Hushkit was born Cedarshadow thought up of a name that seemed to describe him perfectly; Hushkit, because as a kit he was always mewling loudly and several times they had to tell him to 'hush up' due to the fact that he was annoying the other queen's in the nursery. As a kit, he was always a pawful; frequently getting into trouble and disturbing everyone in sight. Cedarshadow had to several times confine him to the nursery, but that didn't stop him!
One day, an apprentice had stumbled into camp, yowling that there was a fox in their territory. Hushkit had gone to search for it, having left unnoticed. He had gone towards the fox's horrible stench, and once he had tracked it down, he had attacked it just like any other warrior would. But a kit? He was truly a unique one, with a fiery spirit and a lot of courage. Although, luckily, he had only earned a gash to his tail before his mother and a couple other warriors had rushed in to the rescue. Once they had driven the fox out, they had scolded him and shooed him off back to the nursery. The Clan admired him deeply for having gone out to search for the fox at such a young age, and secretly, Cedarshadow admired him too for his fierce bravery. But that didn't mean he hadn't received a strict punishment. And even though, the Clan adored him, and it wasn't hard to win his clan's love.
When Hushkit became Hushpaw, he definitely stood out from the other apprentices. He trained hard for six whole moons, and once it was time for him to become a warrior, he had fully earned and deserved the title. He had worked harder than any other apprentice in his Clan, and his clan mates could tell that he really wanted to be a good and fierce warrior of FleetClan. He was still quite a social butterfly, chatting with mostly everyone. He always enjoyed taking a trip to the elder's den and did not complain once when he had to get out their ticks. He loved just spending time with the elders and listening to them tell him stories of their ancestors and the clans. When he wasn't with them, he trained frequently with his mentor, sometimes even longer than necessary. So much in fact, that when it was time for him to become a warrior, not one cat doubted that he deserved the title.
Hushstorm grew up to be a handsome tom well respected in his clan. He served his clan well, and never thought twice about breaking the warrior code. He cared deeply for his clan, and it showed. However, one stormy, fateful day, their current deputy died of a unnecessary border fight. The Clan was mortified, and they sat vigil for him that night, honoring his bravery and spirit. And in that same night, it was time for the leader to announce the next deputy. At first Hushstorm didn't even think that it would be him - but the whole of FleetClan never had a doubt that it would be. When the leader announced him as deputy, he was the only one that seemed surprised - but very pleased. He vowed since that night that he would serve FleetClan to the best of his abilities. And till this day he has not yet broken that promise.

White, billowing clouds stretched out across the horizon, seeming to bask in the colorful, fading light of the sun and the sparkling twinkle of the stars that had begun to peek out from within the grounds of silverpelt. Dusk had approached, and the sun that had blazed thoroughly against FleetClan's meadows was slowly setting, shedding its last rays of sunlight across the endless sea of grasses. A single silhouette stood out from the beautiful landscape, his broad shoulders blocking out the small circle that was the sun, and his head lifted to stare up at the sky. His lean, slender body was positioned on top of the hill, his white tabby coat gleaming handsomely beneath the fading light of the sun. The deputy's ears was pricked as he stared down at his surroundings, taking on the whole landscape in one swift glance. His body froze when he noticed a figure slinking towards him in the distance. Hushstorm's fierce emerald eyes narrowed in astonishment. it couldn't be...could it? Yes, yes it was. As the figure drew nearer, Hushstorm could better make out the mysterious creature. A flashback came running through his mind, and for a moment the deputy stood, paralyzed, as he reminisced the past.
He was padding across the wide-spread meadow, never having seen such wide open space before. He felt like breaking free, running towards that sun that glared so valiantly down at him. The meadow seemed to go on forever, and excitement had begun to ripple through his short, tabby kit fur. Suddenly, he could scent something. Something he had never scented before. What was it? He was certainly curious enough to find out! He stepped forward, and with a loud gasp, a vicious creature stepped out of the bushes in front of him. It had a narrow snout, with crooked teeth and eyes that showed no other emotion except hatred. He had never seen such eyes. His ribs were showing, and his fur was orange, and his chest and paws white. Hushkit had never seen such a unique creature before. But something told him something wasn't right. Soon enough, the fox snarled and leapt towards him. Paralyzed with shock for just a moment, Hushkit unsheathed his sharp tiny claws and slashed at whatever was there, hardly knowing what he was doing. And then cats were flashing by - his clan mates, and they were yowling at him, demanding for him to return back to camp.
He remembered staring into his mother's, Cedarshadow's, eyes, and seeing fear there, and a genuine worry that only a mother carried for her kit. But Hushkit knew he couldn't leave her. Hushkit, against his mother's wishes, hurled himself back into the fray and with all of his kit strength, tried his best to shred that fox to pieces. However, his older clan mates were swiftly getting control over the fox, and soon enough they had begun to chase him out. Hushkit remembered staring after them, his green eyes wide with wander and triumph. His first fox fight! It had been everything Hushkit could have ever imagined it would be! To fight with all your heart, and once you win, find that contentment and fullfillment that gave a warrior its pride. And Hushkit couldn't ever forget that special pride he had felt. The pride of a true warrior. The pride of a simple kit, yearning for that one mark of greatness.
Hushstorm snapped out of the past, and immediately rushed back into the present. The fox was there, clear as day, its snarl having risen in his ginger throat. Hushstorm was, for a moment just like before, paralyzed with, no not fear, excitement. In one simple moment, Hushstorm's sharp, needle-like claws slid out of his massive paws. His emerald eyes blazed with a new found strength; the strength of a warrior who had grown to be ten times stronger than before. Now, he wasn't a kit. Now, he was the deputy, and that greatness that Hushstorm had yearned so much when he had been a kit, was there, beating rapidly within the chamber of his heart. and so, letting out a low, deadly growl that soon rose into a roar, Hushstorm leapt, soaring through the air and onto the fox that had, at the same time, launched towards its enemy. They met in a ball of fury and ferocity, their growls suffocating their every movement as they thrashed against each other, both craving the others blood. And as Hushstorm looked into the ragged fox's eyes, that's when he realized it.
It was the same fox from his past.

Accepted. Locked. Moved.
I am not waiting for more auditions with this bio. My reason is simple: It meets my standards. Hushstorm is an original character, and the bio fills requirements. What really got me, though, was the IC Sample. That is the most important part of the audition, because it shows me what kind of RPing I'm going to get from you.
So congratulations on your new deputy position! Feel free to make more bios or start a thread. If you want, you can fill out an Intro in the OOC board. I hope you have fun at Fear!
