Name: Amberpaw
Age: 6 moons
Gender: She-cat
Alliance: Eternalclan
Rank: Apprentice
Outer Beauty: Amberpaw is an orange tabby cat. Her fur is a lovely peach color, and still pretty light like a kitten's fur. She's pretty small, but not unimaginably so; she should grow into an averaged sized warrior by her first year or so. Her peach fur is covered in dark orange stripes that are look like a shade of brown or tan against her lighter fur. She also has white markings on her, though they aren't as noticable nor do they appear as frequently as the rest of her stripes.
The white spots are on her face paws tail and chest. She has a pretty big blotch of creamy white fur on her best, and is the biggest spot of white on her. The tip of Amberpaw's tail is also white, it taking up about one fifth of the length of her tail. Her face is lighter on her muzzle, but only below her nose. And also where her eyes meet the bridge of her nose. Amberpaw's paws are white, and slowly switch to orange as it goes up her legs.
Amberpaw's face is still rather childish, with her wide dark blue eyes and ever curious expression, she still has a lot of that kit-ish cuteness to her. The stripes on her face are almost completely symmetrical, and like most tabbies she has the classic 'M' shaped marking on her forehead. Amberpaw's nose is pink, and has a tan colored stripe on each side that curves and frames each side of her nose.
Amberpaw's ears are pretty big. They look pink when the sun is hitting the back, but from the front, her ears are white and somwhat fuzzy on the inside. Her ears will always be a bit larger than average, even as she gets older. Her feet are small, as any kit's feet. She's pretty fast, but is stronger than she has speed. She has to be strong, rough housing with two big tabby kittens that are her siblings. Her weight is average for a little tabby female, though she is a bit on the small side weighing in around 7 pounds or so; about half of the size that she'll grow to be.
Inner Beauty: + Amberpaw is obedient to those she respects. Her parents were sure to stick this into her immediate frame of mind. With her father mentored by the late deputy, she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Luckily since she's still rather young, she respects most felines that happen to be older than she is. The apprentice will never disobey her mentor or another warrior for the sole reason of being disobediant. She is in that way, already loyal to most adult cats. Other apprentices take some work for her to listen to them whilst really caring about what they say.
- Naive is a word that describes Amberpaw rather well. She's gullible, yes, but not in a sense where she'll attempt something impossible because someone tells her otherwise. The apprentice is simply too trusting and will keep trying something that she as an apprentice is incapable of doing themselves. She strived to be a huntress and a leader before she was out of her kithood, but often ended up following after her brothers because they were bigger and to her they seemed to be stronger. Her naivity makes her out to be a follower opposed to the leader that she's always wanted to be.
+ This is one apprentice that will work for her mentor. What started out as an attention complex has turned her into a she-cat that never giving up. Her willpower is strong, and gets her though tough situations when skill just isn't enough. Though she knows it's not her fault if something happens to fail, or takes a turn for the worst, she won't give up unless she simply can't go on any longer. Even then she tries her best to pick herself up and go for whatever goal she set for herself later.
- It's almost impossible for Amberpaw to accept failure. She sets standards and goals for herself, higher than she would for any other apprentice and even warrior. When she can't do something right away, she picks herself up and tries again; an admirable trait for any apprentice. But it's almost hearbreaking to see the little she-cat striving for an excellence that everyone but her knows that she can't acheive. When she's in the mindset to keep going, it's hard to get through to her to do anything else. She'll skip a hard-earned meal, and even a chance to play with other kittens and apprentices to keep trying at something that she's set her mind to.
+ Amberpaw is honest. The kitten tries her very best to always tell the truth. Even though it makes her feel awfully childish at times, when faced with the option to tell a quick fib, the apprentice does her best to say no to the urge and admit to whatever question or accusation she's facing. Not to say that she never fibs, if she's sworn secrecy to another apprentice, she won't open her muzzle for anyone.
- Amberpaw is sensitive. Not when it comes to play fighting and training, but when it comes to herself personally. If someone tells her she let them down, she takes it to heart to a very extreme extent. Also, if someone dislikes her, she'll strive to know what she did wrong, and try to get on said feline's good side. She is pretty fragile when it comes to what other cats think of her, it's a bit backward coming from her family, but not surprising. She has quite the legacy to live up to, her lineage known for having positions of status.
Past: Amberkit was born in a litter of three, she being the last born of the newborns. She was the very essence of her father, and the other kits were a good mixture of the two. Her father, Russetwing, was the father of an Eternalclan deputy. He would have been deputy too, had he not been concentrated on his family instead of duties to his clan as of late. She looks like him, who looked like his father.
She wasn't the biggest or strongest of the kittens, but she kept up with her brothers well. The two young toms were always bickering and roughhousing. Amberkit learned to roll with the punches and get involved; even when the two were running straight into trouble. The she-cat eventually learned that if she wanted to stay out of trouble, she needed to make sure that her brothers did the same. So as they aged, she took the place of the middle-kitten's normal duty of second in command. If something was too dangerous, she'd demand that their little group did something else; and often suggesteda more. . . reasonable alternative to the reckless idea she opposed.
Even so, she had a problem standing up to them both when they were agreed on doing something. Amberkit always refused to be left behind, and when she lost one of those arguments to oppose something stupid, the little kitten would sometimes cry and often mope; but tag along anyways. When she explained what happened with her mother, Featherbreeze, the she-cat would respond with 'Toms will be toms dearest.' And Amberkit would always be left with a choice to keep following them around or staying in the dens. She was no tom, but she hated being at the dens by herself; so until she was an apprentice, these toms would have to do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As an apprentice, Amberpaw is eager to learn everything she can. She won't fail, because that would mean letting her father down, and letting her brothers get ahead of her in their training to be a warrior. The she-cat refuses to be left ehind or made a fool of in front of those toms, and will do everything that she can to get this apprentice thing right. Kin: Featherbreeze - Mother Russetwing - Father Flamepaw - Brother Galepaw - Brother IC Sample: Did you read the rules? *edited out*
