Well the origin of this phobias theme was actually created by me randomly going through my phobia list on a site waay back when. So I thought it would be the perfect idea for a site called Fear. xP Everyone has flaws and phobias, my cats just tend to have one major one each. Find out the meaning of their fear at the bottom of their thread. I'm done rambling now. ^^ |

I am a tom

I was taught by the kind she-cat, Warmlight,
whose teachings I carry on to Raptorpaw.
No she-cat has caught my fancy.
I am forever in love with no one.

My brother Ottertail will forever be dear to my heart, despite crimes of the past.
I hold nothing but contempt for Frozensoul. My Apprentices:
Timewave - He could never be considered terrible in any area. In fact I admire the tom, already a senior warrior in my eyes. He is as good a warrior I could have hoped to create on my first try. Obviously my standards are rather high. Personally I have never felt like much of a mentor to him, more the cat that just pointed to something for him to succeed at.
Flamefoot - He never grew out of that hotheadedness he had, did he? Well no harm, I myself can be considered eccentric and if you are as fast a fisher as Flamefoot is you deserve a little room to be yourself. If he hadn't been worth it than probably would have cracked down on it a bit more. He was quite the surprise gift. When I saw that smirk on his face and that little hop on his step I bargained for nothing but trouble. That was true, but the good kind of trouble.
Bugflight - Compared to my other two apprentices he was not only a step down, but I swear he stole around ten moons of my life. Not to mention it wasn't exactly the prettiest sight to get up in the morning to have an over-excited apprentice hanging over me dripping ooze all over me. I swear if I didn't respect his efforts I would have named him Bugooze. I didn't think he would make it to warrior, but that little bugger made it the distance. Even if it did take him four moons longer than the average apprentice. His fire was never dampened and he could never be swerved by a single insult.
Raptorpaw - Though I admit I wasn't exactly keen on taking on another I feel he will show himself as worthy as my two first apprentices. If not I've just signed myself up for another long apprenticeship. Oh please save me from that pain, world. I'll be done with this if he doesn't.
Well he certainly matches the young Flamefoot. Hopefully he won't have too thick of a head as Flamefoot did. I'd like to actually get the lesson of humility into at least one of my apprentices. He didn't leave me with the best first impression this morning. Not only did I catch him taking an extra piece of freshkill, but he wasn't warrior enough to admit it to me. Karma was on my side though, Boundkit pulled through with a beautiful determination. Her mother with the wonderful line, 'That's my little warrior.' Hopefully that really digs at him and he thinks twice before stooping to a crow's level. Though with the cowardice he has shown so far I'm going to have to be ready for a long haul with getting him to speak out with what he thinks.
My Friends:
Ottertail - My only brother, my only sibling. The only one to finally break the vicious cycle of my kithood. That moment that he called out, was the moment he started to gain favor in my heart. He understands when sometimes I get a little sad, he is the only one I can forever count on. I hope that he can find a way to shed those moments of anger and the traits that my.. she gave to him. I'll always be ready to help him, he's the only one I've ever believed in. The answer that could never be found to the ending of my pain. The moment he decided to let love in, I would be freed.
My Villains:
Frozensoul - I'd rather not speak or even think about her. She is the bane of my existance and the only reason I could not feel as a kit. She left me beaten and broken, it was a miracle alone that I was able to recover. I have so many things that I wish I could scream at her and almost did that one day. The day of my shedding anger and the day I became freed. The only thing I ever took from her was a horrible, horrible fear. Even when I need to, I am never able to anger. I can never raise my voice as so many others can. Does this mean she will always be with me? No, I could never hold on to her memory. That is why this is so brief, I'd rather not be bring it back up. The wounds she gave me are still fresh. Scars that shall never close. Raptorpaw's Thoughts
Hauntstar is one of, if not the most obnoxious tom I have ever met. He has a crazy way of torturing his apprentices, by going through these mousebrained little stages of worthiness, starting with doing things like cleaning out the Elder's Den. Then he goes on and on about clan history and information about other clans, things I could have easily learned at a Gathering... You know, I really was hoping for Thunderstrike as a mentor. He is a respected senor warrior, and well known for getting straight to business. Not wasting his apprentice's time by pulling ticks off of a few smelly elders. For HALF a moon... I could be much more successful with him. Warriors are not judged by how much history they know, like Hauntstar foolishly thinks. I'll be lucky if I don't claw his ears off by the time I'm a warrior. I've just gotten done with my first day of Raptorpaw's training. It appears he needs more humility than anything. So far he strikes me as a cat with potential, but he knows a bit too much about it. I'll need to straighten him up quite a bit in he time we have together. I saw him steal an extra piece of prey from the freshkill pile. I didn't let on that I knew, but I knew he was squirming a little on the inside wondering if I did. He probably thought my routine half moon of apprentice tasks was nothing more than a way too strict punishment. Well I hope he'll enjoy coming over to the entrance of camp everyday with the rest of the cats whispering about it and chatting excitedly about their planned day of training. Hopefully that alone will prove enough to give the tom some lessons in humility. For he'll get pretty used to that schedule in the next half moon. For now I'm just going to watch him from a ways back to see how he handles it. Then I'll divide the rest of the time to Foxfang....
Unusual Start
Finally we get to the beginning of the good stuff. Not that Raptorpaw would ever think of history lessons as 'good'. Not everyone can be as much of a history fanatic as I am, mainly a hobby I guess. Whatever it is to me does not take away the importance of it. If one is not clear on their history, aren't they doomed to repeat those mistakes? What good is a victory too, if it has already been won by another long ago? Not territory-wise, but discoveries and those things that make us the cats we are today. That is completely important and needed. It may not be as 'fun' as hunting is for apprentices but they aren't the ones choosing what to teach.
I hope to get a few things done here today. First of all I shall start with a little analyzing of Raptorpaw, what stories he liked and such. This will help me a great deal in unlocking who he is as a cat since he seems unwilling to let me in. Then it will probably be around sunhigh when he finishes, so I shall cool us off by teaching him how to swim. that is a staple point in any RushClan cat's knowledge. You could hardly call yourself a RushClan cat if you can't swim and you are over the age of three moons. Then I shall continue on with the founding of our great Clan, prominent figures, current figures, and our standings at the moment with the other Clans. That should wrap it up for the day, tomorrow we'll probably cover FleetClan.... ___________________________________________________________
My inspiration for this one isn't really clear. xP I know you're probably thinking 'wtf how could you not have a clear inspiration with THAT bio!? o.O' Well the name came to me randomly, a friend helped me find a good pic. The rest was pure determination, despite my bouts of procrastination. I started telling myself to get ten sentences per para, and that lasted until I went longer in some of the history posts. Let me tell you some of those personality and appearance paragraphs took me an hour to make. I'm very proud of his character and I can't wait to get rping with him!

Well the thing that forced me to make this character was Scorpia. I had told her a while back when we were discussing cool names that we had that I really wanted to use Chasm for something. So being evil like she is she had to put it as an adoptable on one of her bios. Otherwise I never would have gotten around to making him. As you will soon learn about me. xD Anyway she also dragged me into creating him with Raptorpaw's past. Another thing you will learn, I am a psychology and everything that goes with it fanatic, I even like interesting injuries and such. So amnesia equals awesomeness. Hopefully I can give this guy a lot of love. <3

Thunderstrike - He may be a good warrior now, but when he was an apprentice he was the most insufferable cat I have ever met. I sent him to the Elder's Den more than I took him out training. Maybe it's easy to like a cat who never has fire in his heart, but I found him incredibly lax and aggravating.
Kindleflame - She was a sweetheart and even I can say that in the most honest way possible. She learned what I taught and she listened when I spoke. In comparison to Thunderstrike she was the best apprentice that EternalClan has ever seen. I wish her the best in life and I hope she succeeds with everything that she does.
My Friends:
Blacknight - I would give my life to keep my sister safe and happy. I may have failed her in the past, but she seems to still love me all the same. I hope that I will never see a day that she isn't on this planet without me. Dare I say that I would stop functioning entirely if I were ever to lose her. Blacknight is intelligent and she can still be funny, even after all that is happened to her in her life. I love her dearly.
Robinfeather - This tom saved my sister's life, so how could I not think the world of him. Outside of that he has loved her for the better part of his life, sometimes I want to just tell my sister that he loves her as more than a friend. However i will never do such a thing because I believe deeply that only he should tell her how he feels. Hopefully he'll get around to this sooner than later!

Naturally Scorp had something to do with me creating this character. I mean come one, I have no drive of my own half the time to create my own stuff. She had up that stupid adoption thread and I just happened to pick up this guy. (Probably because someone used key words like fear and hate ><) So I went to write the IC sample with little to no muse and somehow I created this brilliant creature. Me lovies Nightbreeze. <3
