We don't actually know what happened. It just... happened. Y'know? Kinda like a light bulb burning out. Didn't know it was going to happen, then suddenly... Blink! No more light. It's not like we can just walk to the store and buy another light bulb. I mean, c'mon. It's the humans. One day everything was fine and dandy, then we woke up and they were just... poof. No bodies, no blood. No flash flood, no fire, no plague, no wrath of God. Like aliens had just came and abandoned them in the night. That was a good... three years ago? Now it's just the animals. No, the world's gone to the dogs.
